Scholarship Application
Each year the Newcastle Area Business Association (NABA) is proud to present $1000 scholarships to graduating senior high school students living in Newcastle, Ophir and Penryn. Monies for the scholarships are derived from the annual Mountain Mandarin Festival held each November the weekend before Thanksgiving.

2020 Scholarship Recipients

This year’s recipients are Abby Donovan from Newcastle and Katelyn Wright from Penryn. Due to fewer applications this year each girl will receive $1500 to help with her studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where they will each be pursuing majors in animal science. Both girls have been active in the Del Oro High School FFA program.
